I just read this at the Proboards support site. They are having a load of boards deleted at the minute, some rightly, some wrongly. But note the bit in red.
We've received numerous complaints about your board, which ranged from discussion of drug use to posting of inappropriate images, to discussion of adult issues.
In a more recent topic, you yourself participated in a discussion related to oral sex. That is not an appropriate topic for any board on ProBoards.
Your board was removed for this violation - no adult content.

Just to keep you informed that's all. It would appear the Terms-of-Service are being quite rigidly enforced at the minute, so could we all try to make sure we stay on topic, and legal (or at least delete our own posts after those who need to read them have done, and we've had a laugh)
Anyone interested can view the TOS again at www.proboards.com/Information-Terms_of_Service.html
This is a good site, and we don't want to lose it because it happens to get checked on one of our more surreal days. After all it took enough moves to get here in the first place
Before anyone starts, YES this does amount to censorship. This is something that Patrick Clinger readily admits to, but the system is his and he's as liable (especially under US law I think) for any offensive material found on one of these message boards as the person posting it. I KNOW we are far from the most outrageous group around, but it would appear that a bit of a war is breaking out over at PB support and it could have knock on effects all across the boards if Patrick decides enough is enough.
This thread has been locked to (hopefully) prevent it's hijacking again. This is for info only.
